Welcome New Board Member Matthew Leung

BSF is pleased to announce the addition of Matthew Leung of Melbourne, Australia to its Board of Directors. Matthew has served in BSF as a Group Leader, Area Personnel, Coach/Trainer, Sample Lecturer, WordGo Teaching Team member, Ambassador in Visakhaputnam, India, and Headquarters staff member. He currently serves as Online Area Personnel and Secretary of the BSF Australia Board of Directors.
In his professional life, Matthew is a senior corporate attorney across energy and communication industries who has experience in data analytics and consumer data rights. He is a citizen of the United States, Australia, and Hong Kong, and he speaks fluent Cantonese, Mandarin, French, and English.
We are thankful Matthew brings his deep ministry knowledge and Australian and Asian perspectives (both legal and cultural) to the board.
BSF’s Board of Directors step into the essential role of governance over all Bible Study Fellowship. They have prayerfully and strategically ensured our ministry is accomplishing its mission in a way that glorifies God and serves our class members.

BSF is profoundly grateful for the service of our past and current board members who have trusted God’s guidance in shepherding the ministry since 1959. Each board member has had a strong relationship within BSF as a leader, Area Personnel, or ministry partner. We are excited to follow the board’s leadership in casting the vision and paving the path for the ministry to further serve a global audience toward biblical engagement that transforms lives and glorifies God.

Observation and Debrief Course

The new “Observation and Debrief” course is being made available for all Class Staff. In an effort to reduce costs by balancing the number of users accessing MyBSF Learning each month, Class Staff enrollments will occur in groups based on role. TLs, OTs, and DOTs were enrolled in December, and STLs were enrolled in January. You will receive an enrollment e-mail notification from MyBSF Learning when you have access to the course. The skills you learn in this short course will help you observe your leaders and debrief with them more effectively. You will gain tools to encourage your leaders in their practical and spiritual and growth. The remaining schedule is:

  • February: CA, AOT, DAOT
  • March: SP CS, PS CS
